Philodendron Red Congo is a STUNNER. Congo's elegant green and crimson leaves sprout from a single central stem, forming a lush plant.
Light: All philodendrons love bright indirect light, and can tolerate medium light as well. No direct sunrays, which cause sunburn on Congo's leaves.
Water: Allow to dry out between waterings. Check top inch of topsoil - when it is dry its ok to water. Avoid overwatering, especially in winter months when Congo will drink less water.
Growth: Red Congo is a self heading philodendron and does not trail. They grow new foliage in layers out of a stalk. Slow growing, these plants can reach up to 4" tall.
Food: 1 to 2 times per month in spring and summer.
Availability varies, usually 10" or 4" grower pot size in stock.
